Buying pre-paid SIM card in India

I have to use indian pre-paid SIM card during my trip in India.

Please tell me if Nokia 6230 phone would work there? Which operator should I use in India?

Hi,

Any unlocked GSM Triband phone will work here with an Indian Sim. There are plenty of operators in each region, but I use Airtel myself as they have the maximum coverage in most areas.

Just do as search on the forum, and you will see a lot of posts on this subject. Or check out www.airtel.in for the required documentation.
