Waiting lounge - Chennai Intl Airport

I am traveling to India - Chennai airport soon. I have train to catch after 5 hrs of arrival. I arrive at 1AM in morning.Can anyone advice whether there is any accommodation at the airport (I guess dormitory is hard to get!!) or waiting lounge at international arrival terminal? Any suggestions?

There are two train stations( Egmore and Chennai Central stations) in Chennai. From which station will you be taking train?

It would be better if you take a taxi to the train station soon after arrival so that you can sleep in one of the hotels near by.

Alternatively, you can approach airport manager as soon as you arrive and ask for an acommodation.May be that you are lucky to get a room.Ldging is located above the domestic terminal building.

To my knowledge there is no waiting lounge at international terminal. You may go to domestic terminal and can wait there.Normally they allow passengers who have early morning flight to catch.

Any suggestions for hotels near Egmore railway station?

Budget hotels near Egmore stations are Udupi Home, Tourist Home, Nest-in etc..There are many lodgings near and opposite Egmore station.
