Can anyone tell me what type of electrical plug is used in goa,sorry but its my first time in goa 2 weeks time.

buy your plugs there it will cost very little and they are a better fit.

Agreed. They cost around 60 - 80 rupees and lots of shops sell them.

if you already have one, its two round pins mostly.

i did find though, in CSM, they had sockets that you couldput almost any plug into. this is not commom though.

BOB sorry to be a pain but the wife just brought a boots mosquito killer and its just got a normal 3 pin english plug on it,and the box states for india,south africa,cyprus.i am still a bit confused are the sockets the same as in spain egypt an other such contries many thanks

to my knowledge there are no square pin plugs in goa. there are three round pin, and two round pin. the three round pin will take a two round pin plug also.

if you want to use your mossie machine, you will have to have an adapter. but my advice is to leave it behind and buy one in goa. they are around 50 or 60pence to buy there and you get a bottle of the fluid with it. they are available in most of the shops.

many thanks BOB its been a bit of a struggle,with visas and other things now it forcasts for thunderstorms when we are otu there, all good fun i suppose,i hope its worth it when we get there.nice to see someone up as early as me.we are staying in cavelossim have you been there?

we%26#39;ve just got back from kerala, had a hum dinger of a thunderstorm there on thursday.

well its still 32c that will have to do i suppose,it must be nice back in warm england.the thunderstorms are forcast for the 25ish no worries just have to get drunk then all will be ok
