2009 flights from Birmingham

Just tried to rebook for the Thompsonfly Saturday Birmingham 7.45pm flight through Thomas Cook as we did this year.I was told that there is no B,ham flight and that I would have to go from Manchester. As I live nearer B,ham, plus - this year the Birmingham TOM flight started at Manchester and picked up in B,ham, I did not want to have to book Manchester flight only to find out I could have got on at B,ham.Does anyone know what is happening?

We tried to book with Thomsons from Bham. They have joined forces with First Choice so the flights are on FC planes not Thomsons. There are flights to Goa from East Midlands if that helps?

The hotel we want is in the Thomas Cook brochure but not in Thompson.Direct Holidays have Birmingham flights but not the hotel we want so we may just have to plump for Manchester unless Thomas Cook put the Thompsonfly flight from B%26#39;ham back on.

Hi We are booked with portland to go this november at 5pm from Birmingham with First Choice who are now Thomsons, on the same flight last November Thomas Cook passangers were on our flight when booking looked at both companys but Portland were cheaper for same holiday and used ThomsonFly.First Choice planes have the same legroom and seatback TV as Thomson. Might be worth checking.

Hi again sorry forgot to say the flight from Birmingham has now changed to Monday. Jan

Thomson are an opposing company to Thomas Cook. Thomas Cook joined up with Airtours so surely you should be looking at one of these sites for Thomas Cook flights?

Petemacc, we booked the holday from the Thomas Cook brochure last year and the flight was on a Thompsonfly plane. Anyway to make sure we got the hotel we want, we have booked again from the thomas Cook brochure and are flying from Manchester on the Thomas Cook aircraft. Will look at the others you suggested though- thanks.
