You can book an overnight trip to Palolem or Mandrem through Johns Boat Tours on Candolim High Street. Don%26#39;t book through your tour operator as it will cost twice as much. If you want to stay for longer you should be able to arrange it yourself using a local taxi. If you look at some of the threads from Goanjock he stayed at Madhu cocohuts in Agonda and posted the address and telephone number on a previous page.

Further north from Kiri beach,Arambol Mandrem, Aswem and Morjim are all wonderful beaches and a taxi will take you there for under 拢10

Further south the beaches are also wonderful Uttordo, Benbatalim etc and these are also accessible for around 拢10. Further south to Agonda will probably cost a few ruppees more but explore Goas wonderful coast.

Have stayed at Candolim/Calungute for last 10 years and it is getting far too commercialised and crowded now.

We went north and south and the beaches there were more like the Goa we fell in love with although the hawkers are more persistent so be warned!

Enjoy
