Recent visitors to Whispering palms hotel?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Im going in about 3 weeks for 1st time and am getting slightly nervouse!

Had all injections and got malaria tablets so all set to go. Getting worried about the temp, hotel, food and general things to do!!

I know im prob being very silly as you only have to look back on here and see how much you all think of Goa, but i just need a bit or re-assurance!

Just seen your post and had to reply, as I had exactly the same mixed feelings as you regarding everything from 3 weeks before our holiday to Candolim for the first time. In fact, 1 week before I didn%26#39;t even want to go!! This was in January.

But.....we did go on our much awaited holiday and stayed at Sunset Beach Hotel which is directly opposite Whispering Palms, and as soon as we got out of the airport and into the taxi I just knew we were going to love it. We met many people staying at your hotel and they enjoyed it there. We had the best holiday ever, and have now booked to return next January for another glorious 3 weeks.

You are not being silly and I think these mixed feelings happen to alot of people. Please enjoy.

Do you have any recomendations on places you really enjoyed?

I didn%26#39;t stay at the whispering palms butwent to a restaurant just outside called the mermaid it was excellant the steaks were superb and the strawberry pavlova was gorgeous. It gets busy and you may have to book.
