I have four nights each at Casablanca Beach Resort and Lemontree Amarante Beach Resort without the transfers.. I will be travelling light bt would still have a couple of handbags between me and my wife.
Would anyone knwo roughly what would be the distance between the two resorts? Is it walkable or one needs to take a taxi?

From memory the Casablanca is about 15mins on foot from The Lemon Tree depending what time of day you are transferring ie the heat. You seem to have struck gold getting the Lemon Tree which was new last year and looks super and is centrally located. You could get a tuk tuk which would probably cost 30rs (50p)

Yes it is walkable, I would say it%26#39;s less than a 5 minute walk, but for the sake of a few rupees (no more than 50) it would probably be easier to take a taxi than carrying even hand luggage in the heat.

Thanx Lynda and Deby. I guess I would be hiring a 2-wheeler during my stay there and maybe I would just transfer on my own, alternatively would get a tuk-tuk.. what is this tuk-tuk btw :-).. do you refer to the three wheelers with a bulged up look like the ones in most of Asia?
Its called autorickshaw in India or in short auto.. ya in some parts they have different names.

yes, tuk tuk is an autorickshaw, a pretty universal nickname for it around the world
