Easter weekend will probably be busy as the out of state Indians go to Goa for long weekends. By the time you go things will be a lot quieter, even more so in your second week as things start to wind down towards the end of the season.

Last Easter in the South they started taking the shacks down, and on Good Friday nearly all the shacks took a day off, so was impossible to get any food or drink on the beach. We only found one that was just about open.

But I know the South is very quiet anyway, expect up North its still busy.

This year though a lot of schools are only taking two days at Easter ie. Good Friday and Easter Monday and then two weeks later from the 7th April for a fortnight there will be a two week school holiday - I know because we are actually flying out on the 7th with our two children. I hope it%26#39;s not too quiet, whilst we do like it fairly peaceful we would like to experience the beach shacks as much as possible.

My stepson was in Candolim for the last two weeks in April last year. It got really quiet towards the end of his holiday, but there were still lots of places to eat. Quite a few of the shacks were coming down though, and I think that Ingo%26#39;s market had stopped.

The last 2 weeks of April are a lot quieter and things wind down but Easter is early this year so there should still be plenty going on in the middle 2 weeks of the month.
