3 weeks in South India (Kerala) - urgent advice please

My girlfiend and I have booked last-minute flights to Trivandrum in Kerala leaving this Friday for three weeks. We are hoping to really see and do a lot on a fairly tight student budget. We would like to travel around and don%26#39;t mind ';roughing it';. Suggestions as to destinations or any other advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi jach I don%26#39;t don%26#39;t know what is ';roughing it'; but, In kerala Munar tea plantation a more than 40km drive road is a the place must see. You have tower station where clouds will touch the hill. Don%26#39;t wast time to see ';Niligir thars'; hardly couple of animals you can see. You can taste world best tea ';Kulukkmalai tea';.

Next spot could be see coast and beaches.

Kumarakam Back water you have spend a night in the boat house you will have entire food/sleep every thing in a traditional boat.

ENroute you can ask for grand churches and traditional villages to see.

I visited the place two months back. If you need help can call me at +91 (0) 99490-08484
