off to Goa 20th March and we have to start on the anti-malaria tablets.

I am a bit worried about the side affects has anyone had side affects and if so what did you do???

They seem to affect people differently. Personally I haven%26#39;t had any side effects and always take them with food.

Hiya. I have used malarone extensively for many trips overseas both for work and for holidays. I have never had any side affects at all but i cannot vouch for other anti mozzie tablets. That said, i do know of others who have used different anti malaraials and they have been fine. A friend of mine used anti malarials in Africa but i do not what they were called, i was using malarone at the time but we were both absolutely fine. Side affects are very very rare and they list that you will find inside the box is a ';generic umbrella'; and a legal obligation by the provider. Iam sure you will find some on this site who will tell you of some very minor affects and probly some horror stories too but try to relax, they are very rare. Enjoy your hols and at least you can be happy in the knowledge that you are protected. Mark
