has anyone arranged their own trip from goa to the taj mahal ???
is it best by air or rail ????
and roughly ho much should we be paying ???

You can fly into Agra on Kingfisher, this is a new route that they just opened up. Earlier there were no flights to Agra.
It is very simple to see the Taj now, you fly Goa-Delhi-Agra. Go to makemytrip.com and look for flights. There are several budget airlines that do Goa-Delhi, the cheapest ticket is Rs 3000/- including taxes. Go the previous day to Delhi, do some sightseeing in Delhi and then take the early morning kingfisher flight to Agra.
