what are the travel options available, cost and how to do advance booking.

Is it possible to do advance booking from elsewhere ( if we are coming from other places like delhi, Chennai etc.)

there is only flight route from delhi to portblair at 6.30 morning its hopping flight via calcutta.

if u want to travel from chennai so it will be better bcoz fare would be cheaper from chennai to portblair incomparision delhi.

for portblair you have to do booking in very advance bcoz in portblair there is always availibility problems.

Regarding cost i cant advice you bcoz its depend on ur date of travel and availibility.

I had been twice to Port Blair last year, you can cover the Red Skin/Jolly Buoy thru the Tourist Dept. and they have daily Tours, however either Red Skin or Jolly Buoy depending upon the season is operated from a place called Wandoo 30kms away from Port Blair. For Havelock Island basically only two trips are made and your only option would be to go by the 6am one. The schedule keeps changing every week and some time its the bigger one with 400 capacity and takes 4hrs one way and there is another 150 capacity which takes 2 1/2 hrs. You dont have options as such. Some times they operate the 150 capacity cruise but priority is given to local Islanders and remaining seats if any then are given to Tourists.
