Callum, there are two elephant shops in candolim, one almost opposite Highland beach hotel, nr the Beach Road, the second is on the opposite side of the road near the Magnum hotel. Think ive seen Ave Marie on the road that runs from the taxi stand on beach road by silver sands not sure if its the same one, seem to remember seeing ave marie up other end near the casa sea shell.

Thanks for that so you think the ave maria is at second casa seashells? past magnum and phoenix? that way i know there are two elephants shops but was using them as an example as a landmark so i could get my bearings as i havent seen this place or any of the others.

thanks

No on reflection seem to think its along the beach road, candolim and turn right at taxi stand past silver sands hotel. Im fairly sure its there.

Callum, Google Ave Marie geusthouse candolim. you may find a map on one of the sites

Sorry. Go to findall-goa.com/Maps/Candolim/Candolim.htm

Hi callumlee,

Summerville hotel is at the bottom end of candolim just as you are entering into sinquerim. If you turn right just after the western union money exchange (opposite little church) summerville is about 100 yards up on the right(opposite Alma%26#39;s restaurant).

Lui Beach is further down the candolim main road - past Kingfisher villa and turn right after next row of shops.

Not to sure on the Ave Marie but I think it is near the Victor Exotica hotel which is still at the bottom end of candolim - nearly opposite ';serendipity'; shop and coffee bar.

Two years since I was there so hope this information is still correct as shop names are always changing.

Hope this helps, you must have enjoyed your holiday if you are looking to book for next year. Since 1996 I have visited Goa fourteen times and have some very happy memories.
