Only just got back and assume that the article is about the girl that was murdered in Goa? This was near rhe Shore Bar on Anjuna beach. All I can say is that unfortunately, bad things happen the world over. Just be careful especially if you are a lone female. Keep the bikinis to sunbathing only, cover up when moving away from the sunbeds, sure have a chat with men( they are not all monsters) but try not to give the wrong impression and think about your safety.As I say, this applies world wide and not just to Goa.The Goan people are lovely and are really upset about what has happened.Go there with and open heart and mind and I am sure you will love it.

The article is actually a great review of Goa.

I mirror that Goanjock. Am going to Goa this weekend, and have no concerns around my personal safety. As long as you take responsibility for your and your childrens safety, should be ok. Mind you i dont go for the clubbing scene, football, drugs. Only to absorb the wonderful hospitality and culture. Roll on Saturday 3 weeks of glorious sunshine too much good food, and ofcourse a honey bee or two.
