I just wanted to report an excellent stay in Pushkar at the Hotel Kishan Palace. This place is really neat. It%26#39;s run by 2 brothers ..Vicky and Benny who are great guys. They are local guys who have travelled and lived in other parts of the world, so they can easily communicate with travellers. I really enjoyed talking with them while hanging out at the rooftop cafe. I noticed them talking with lots of others too.. they seem to enjoy meeting all the folks who come through there. We also rented our bikes from the hotel and that worked out well too.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Pushkar. I travelled India for 6 weeks..10 days being in Rajastan.. and some places, although has good ambience, turns out to be less enjoyable because of the staff working there...Hotel Kishan Palace was an oasis in the desert!!!

yes pushkar is one of my favourite places too although it can get very touristy at times.
good to know the locals are doing their bit to make tourism in pushkar a great experience for travellers...
