Quite a few of the sunbeds at the Victor Exotica are in the shade as the pool is in the middle of the complex mostly surrounded by the hotel buildings. It was very hot round the pool as there isn%26#39;t much breeze there so I wasn%26#39;t that bothered about being in the sun. We only used the pool a couple of times as I preferred the beach. There are plenty of sunbeds in the sun on the beach and there%26#39;s usually a nice breeze too. When we stayed at the Victor it was still b%26amp;b -I certainly wouldn%26#39;t stay there AI. Personally I think you%26#39;d be better going b%26amp;b as there are loads of great restaurants in Candolim and if the pool is mainly in the shade you can always go down to the beach.

We stayed at the Silver Sands in 2006, the sun moves round the pool during the day, we never used it as the beach is only across the road as you come out of the hotel. The best rooms are the new superior rooms, we have booked for Christmas and are staying in one of these. I%26#39;ve never stayed at the Victor Exotica, so don%26#39;t know about the pool, it%26#39;s a good 10 minutes walk to the beach from the VE so in my opinion the Silver Sands is in a much better location, being close to the beach and plenty of good bars and restaurants on it%26#39;s doorstep. I wouldn%26#39;t go for all inclusive, there are so many places to eat so why be tied to your hotel, the food and drink is very cheap and for what you pay extra for AI you wouldn%26#39;t spend on food and drink during your holiday. Hope this helps.

Hi misty02....

BOOK SILVER SANDS.....BOOK SILVER SANDS.....BOOK SILVER SANDS Get the drift ! !

l stayed at silver sands last year....Fantastic .the location is first class 2 mins and you are on the beach .They do 3 types of accommodation basic, bungalows, superior.l stayed in the Superior Rooms aircon/phone/satelite tv as standard could not fault it one bit .The pool is not very big there and it does not get alot of sun .

You will not be bothered about sitting by the pool when the glorious beach is only 2 mins stroll away.

On no account book all inclusive.Goa has some amazing places to eat it is a holiday destination where you would be mad to book all inclusive.

Which ever accommodation you choose have a fab time

Thanks for all the help, think I am going to book silver sands, newbie to Goa,kindest regards x
