Has anyone stayed at Resorte De Tio Carmino this year? It has had some bad write ups over the past, but believe they have done work on it? Please say it%26#39;s a great place?????

What did you want to know ? l stayed for 1 month last year ( see my write up ';fantastic month at the Carmino ';) With photos.

Good points excellent pool , gardens, location, aircon ( all new ) Bad points some very grim rooms ( ie dark little light )

Would l stay againe......YES YES .....YES

Basically you get what you pay for . Anything in particular you want to know feel free to ask SERETA

Just been reading your write up. Sounds not too bad a place!

Where is it exactly? I%26#39;m guessing its somewhere near the top of the main Calungute road, possibly near the Post Office area. Am I close?

Dont know where the post office is ? ? Resorte De Tio is on the Candolim border (its classed as Calangute ) Its 15/20 mins walk into Candolim walking on the main road . Its positioned on the main road but a little set back hence no hassle from traffic etc . it is very close to holiday street come out of the hotel 2 mins turn left on you are on holiday street which leads straight to the beach (10 mins walk)

Who have you booked with ? have you got a room with a pool view ? If you have these are the better rooms . As you can see by the photos in my review on this sight there are some pics of good and bad rooms.

l am sure you will have a good time,if you think it is really bad when you get there just ask to move rooms, sure they will accommodate you.
