Me and a friend hope to travel to India and Pakistan or one of them in early April for one month and I was looking for suggestions on the best places to go. As we are only going for one month we dont want to miss anything vital, so basically it will be highlights we are looking for. all suggestions welcome!! Also suggestions on if we should stay for longer, as we may have the option to do so, and how long we should stay in each place.

It is hard to say which part will be better for you. India is such a big country it offers everything. Like; snow mountains, amazing monuments %26amp; historical buildings, backwaters of Kerala, beaches, art %26amp; culture, wildlife... and so on.
It is depend upon your interest to choose the destinations. Think about Pakistan twice. Political condition is not so good to travel these times.

I second the above advice regarding Pakistan. Its not a good time to travel there.
