The weather during the end of may-june is the start of the rainy season.This is to see all the waterfalls in their full majesty and the countryside is green.

The places you can see in and around are elephant falls, shillong peak,wards lake ,umium lake,don-bosco museum,thankarang park in cherrapunjee,mawsamai caves,nohkalikai falls and many more interesting sites.

The city close to shillong is Guwahati. There you can see the famous Kamakhaya Temple,have a boat ride on the Brahmaputra river, etc.Kahziranga nationbal park is also not far from Guwahati.

This experiance of the north-east is one of its kind.
