Hi looking at going to Goa for Xmas and the New Year (usually do Thailand), Please can anyone tell me the best place to stay (resort and hotel) Looking at all options - any advise would be greatfully appreciated, as I really don%26#39;t know where to start.

There are lots of places but it depends what you want from a resort. Do you like it busy or a bit more laid back? What sort of hotel are you looking for? On the whole the hotels in Goa do not come close the standard that you get in Thailand though there are some that do.

Thanks for reply. We like to be on the beach, but have things to do close at hand. Enjoy day trips, and different places to eat of a evening, within safe walking distance. Also a good 3* or 4* hotel. Like you say we have been spoilt with Thailand.
