do the atm machines accept electron?

Hi I am almost sure the ICIC ATM at Kovalam junction accepts electron amongst others.

I will try to confirm this shortly when we use the ATM.

Ian

thanks

Hi Jimi

The ICIC ATM accepts visa electron.

Hope this helps

Ian

I tried to use debit visa cards in atm%26#39;s at kovalam junction but no joy. had to use money changers at kov beach

Did you tell your bank you were going away? I did and could use the machines, my husband didn%26#39;t and had to phone the bank. You can understand them blocking the account when it suddenly starts getting used for cash in India.

yep, we told lloyds before we left when buying travellers cheques and rupees. they said they are unable to prevent cards being blocked and to phone from india if it did. as we could use our cards with money changers it wasn%26#39;t a problem.

Hi! Just returned from Kovalam and had no problem using Visa Electron. We used two ATM%26#39;s at the junction. You can also use your card at money changer near lighthouse.

We also used Axis bank in Trivandrum.

Enjoy your hols!

Hi

The 2 ATM%26#39;s located at Kovalam Junction take most cards but cannot remember if they take Electron.

If you have any problems with any palstic cards then visit Lenic of Cosmic travel, located behind Palm Restuarant on Lighthouse Beach. Don%26#39;t get confused with COSMOS at the bottom of the hill.

Lenic can accept and change all plastic cards and would be willing to help.

Regards

Paul
