Hi we went to this hotel in 2002 and enjoyed it, has anyone been recently, and if so has it been refurbished or anything because the price seems to have shot up.

It could be that the price is just gone up over the five years since your last visit.
Thay are in the process of building new blocks and have more facilities now.

Some refurbishment has been carried out. The new building are not due to open until 2011 at the earliest and will be separated form the existing buildings. They intend to make the new ones 5*. Although the hotel thinks it is now 4* in MHO it only rates a 3*. If you go, be prepared to play the towel on sunbed game around the pool or do what did and use the beach.
