Any good golf in Hyderabad?

I%26#39;m looking for the best golf course available in Hyd. Any recommendations? Also what are the average green fees? Thanks.

There are two Golf Courses that i know about.. One is managed by the Army and is called Bolaram Golf Course.. and believe me its not worth the effort.. There is one more Golf Course, near the Golconda Fort, called as Hyderabad Golf Course, and i personally liked it. Though it is just a 3 hole at the moment.

Emaar Group is building an 18 hole Golf Course, but that will take about 3 years.. so till that time.. i suggest Hyderabad Golf Course.

Green fees are not more than about Rs 200-250 and caddy costs about Rs 100. The course is flat, the greens are awful, but the setting, inside an army camp is not too bad. There is a smallish clubhouse. There are a couple of roads that criss cross the course in two or three places though they are fenced off, and you have to take tee shots to cross those obstacles.

Hyderabad has a problem on account of the rocky soil and relative lack of water, so in summer it does get difficult to maintain a golf course. There%26#39;s been talk about an international class golf course coming up in Hyderabad for the last decade, but nothing has come yet.

Definitely check out the golf course near Golconda- amazing views of the fort. Prices are on the site as well.
